Finally!! I can see the light. The sunlight that is. The winter layers are starting to come off and with that, the boots and wool socks. Its time for pedis and open toes!
As I start packing away my winter wardrobe, I’m already queing up my sandals and open toed heels. But first, pedicure! After months of hiding under wools socks, I’m looking forward to putting bright colours on my toes.
Here are some of the latest colours out now for Spring 2014. No matter your preference, skin tone, mood or the occasion there is a colour out there meant to be worn by you. With all this variety, you could fit in a mani-pedi each week. After the cruelty of this winter, why not!
The ‘it’ colour of the season, Mint, has gone from the runways onto the nails. Ranging from milky mint to almost tropical, you can find a variation that works for you.
Pretty In Pink
It worked for Molly Ringwald and it still rings true today, Pink is a sure bet when the sun shines brighter and weather is warmer. From electric pink to baby hues, a bit of rose goes a long way.
Anything coffee inspired is fantastic to me. Coffee cake, coffee ice cream, coffee nails. However, if your skin tone is like mine and falls within the range of espresso to cappucino, I suggest finding colours with a copper or bronze tint to make sure it stands out.
A Spring time favourite, Coral, never fails. No matter your nail length or skin tone, you can’t miss with Coral.
A bold move, but it seems that metallic inspired nails are no longer for colder nights but also for warmer days. A fun change away from the play-it-safe pastel tones.
